We have been retained by a stable and growing consulting services company to identify an experienced, applied health scientist to join a new public health focused business unit. The person sought will have an advanced degree in a relevant science (toxicology, exposure sciences, risk assessment and/or epidemiology) and not less than five years of broad industrial or government experience. The role will accommodate a person with ten or more years of experience.
The person hired for this role will support the leader of this practice in acquiring and analyzing data pertaining to chemical, contaminant and pollutant exposures, assessment of toxicologic effects and risk/exposure assessment modelling. The practice’s primary customers will be communities affected by emergency chemical incidences and companies affected by public health legislation/policy, and litigation, associated with alleged community or occupational exposures.
A person capable of working in a multi-disciplinary group of health/environmental scientists, with strong communication skills is needed. The company operates from a Denver, Colorado metropolitan office, but will consider an independent person seeking to work remotely, with periodic travel.
