Our client company is a specialty formulator of biocidal chemicals, principally used in agriculture, food processing and water treatment environments. The company has engaged us to find the person that will lead their registration and regulatory affairs function (at either the Manager or Senior Manager level). The position reports to the company’s VP of R&D/Technology.
The person hired for this position will be fully responsible for ensuring that the company is compliant with state and federal regulations, principally EPA-FIFRA and the state equivalent laws. The company is active in new product R&D, which requires the person to lend expertise on the approvability of new formulations and active ingredients. Customer and supplier interaction is another important part of the role.
The company wishes to hire a person with a relevant educational background and at least five years of work in the registration/regulatory compliance surrounding disinfectant chemistry. The company is located in the Mid-Atlantic region, but will consider a viable person working remotely.

The company’s Director of Regulatory Affairs/Registration is seeking a person with at least a few years of experience with domestic regulations to include EPA-FIFRA, North American label regulations and general chemical standards (GHS, for example). The position will be based at the company’s US Headquarters in New Jersey.
The person hired into this role will be responsible for assembling and managing data associated with federal and state regulatory requirements as well as engaging with regulators in respect to the company’s registration filings and dossiers. The department also provides guidance to the company’s new product R&D realm in regard to regulatory requirements.
