Regulatory Affairs Manager – Fragrance Chemicals

Our client company is a global leader in the production of flavor and fragrance chemicals which are used in virtually every consumer product formulation. The company’s US operations are located in the greater New York City metropolitan area.

The company is seeking a Manager of Regulatory Affairs who will report to their Director of Regulatory and Safety Assessment. The person hired for this role will possess a technical degree and have several years of experience in chemical and/or consumer product regulatory affairs matters. Specific experience in the clearance and approval of fragrance materials is preferred.

He/She will manage and mentor a group of four regulatory professionals who are responsible for regulatory compliance with IFRA, federal and state standards, both in North America and in conjunction with colleagues internationally. The group acts in liaison with R&D scientists and the company’s many customers to ensure that safe and compliant fragrances are being manufactured. In addition to managerial responsibilities, this person must possess a high degree of knowledge about the existing and emerging regulations which may affect the company.

Regulatory Affairs Manager – Consumer Products

Our client company is a sector leader in specialty consumer products. Their distribution channel includes some of North America’s largest retailers, for whom the company produces third party labeled products.

As a result of significant growth and demand, the company seeks a person to help ensure regulatory and labeling compliance, and to act as an important intermediary with their suppliers and customers. Specific experience in either EPA regulations concerning disinfectant chemistry and/or FDA-OTC regulations is needed. There is flexibility concerning the seniority needed, but at least five years of pertinent experience is targeted.

This person will report to the company’s Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety and will supervise two regulatory associates. The position is located at an R&D facility in the New York City metropolitan area. The position offers strong growth opportunities, to include likely global expansion.

Director, Regulatory Affairs – Specialty Products Company

Our client is an emerging technology company which is developing proprietary coatings with disinfectant properties. As a result of their growth, the company seeks a person with significant experience in EPA anti-microbial registration matters to lead that function.

The person hired for this role, reporting to the company’s CSO, will oversee strategic efforts to ensure compliance and obtain registrations for their unique chemistry. This will include interaction with EPA and state regulatory agencies. He/She will interact with consulting experts, attorneys and internal colleagues on product development in line with claims which are compliant with federal, state and local regulations and assemble the necessary documentation for regulatory dossiers.

The company is seeking to hire a person with five of more years of EPA (and ideally FDA) experience which applies to disinfectant chemistry, or perhaps another industry which is FIFRA and state regulated. The company’s headquarters are in the Dallas, Texas suburbs and consideration will be given to a remote assignment for a person unable to live in or near Dallas.

Senior Registration/Regulatory Specialist – Specialty Chemicals

We have been enlisted by a large and global specialty chemical company to find an experienced regulatory affairs professional. The company formulates products for use in commercial environments where food safety, cleansing and disinfection are important concerns.

The company is seeking a broadly experienced person, to include significant experience in FIFRA biocide/disinfection registration. Exposure to food, cosmetic and other regulatory initiatives will be considered beneficial, as will a technical degree (BS/BA or higher).

The position, reporting to the company’s Director of Regulatory Affairs, will principally be involved in strategic work to obtain and maintain disinfectant registrations. Management of the company’s GLP compliance program and contributing to other regulatory initiatives are also part of the role. The office location is in a large metropolitan area in the Southeast.
