Our client is a global trade association, with members in the metal mining, processing and recycling businesses. They seek a North America based health and risk assessment scientist to manage initiatives which assess and protect populations from exposures throughout full product life cycles. Significant parts of the job include government regulatory interaction, research initiative development and science literature monitoring on behalf of member institutions.

They seek a PhD in Toxicology, or an adjacent discipline, and several years of applied toxicology, exposure and risk assessment experience. Specific experience with the health effects of metals is desired. The job is fully remote supported (within North America) and reports to the association’s Executive Director/Head of Regulatory Affairs.
