The Leyden Group associates have been engaged to find a toxicology program leader. The company has recently emerged from a prominent pharma venture capital firm. Our client has hired a very notable leader in the toxicology field to head Preclinical Sciences. The company is committed to pipeline expansion and is well funded.
The role calls for a PhD toxicologist (DABT preferred) with close to ten years of development phase toxicology experience. Desired experience would include familiarity with large molecule safety assessment and/or CNS therapeutics. While the person they seek should be able to work independently, there will be strong mentorship in drug development strategy.
The person hired for this role will manage study design with external CRO partners, have full responsibility for toxicology data evaluation, draft regulatory dossiers and engage with regulatory agencies. The job is U.S. based and remote supported.
