The Leyden Group associates have been asked by a Belgium based pharmaceutical company to hire an experienced toxicologist for an onsite role (ex-pat or permanent). The person they seek will have a doctoral degree and several years in preclinical safety assessment of large molecules (ideally immunologic agents). Those with only small molecule experience, and lacking some work with NHP species interpretations will not be considered for the role.
This person will independently act as a senior Project Toxicologist in providing portfolio strategy while being significantly engaged with their CRO and consulting partners. A person who also possesses the skills to mentor a small group of toxicologists would also be attractive.
The title and amount of experience required is flexible and may include a Director level person who could qualify as a successor for the present supervisor (Executive Director, Pharmacology/Toxicology). The company’s existing products and development pipeline is strong, with a high growth ceiling.
