The person sought for this position will work in a group of expert regulatory toxicologists within a Department of Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship. Our client company is a large and diverse, specialty chemical company located in the Southern U.S.
Reporting to the company’s Toxicology Leader, the person hired for this growth created vacancy will manage and interpret safety data for global regulatory filings (TSCA, REACH, GHS etc.), use predictive risk assessment models for determination of exposure and possible health effects, manage external testing programs, participate on trade association panels and interact with regulatory affairs professionals concerning the status of company products.
The company seeks a PhD toxicologist, with as many as five years of experience in a regulatory toxicology environment. Eligibility and an intention for DABT certification is desired. The company may consider an “entry level” toxicologist, if his/her academic experience is pertinent to risk assessment or related human health initiatives.
