A large and global specialty chemical company has asked The Leyden Group associates to identify a person for the growth of their product safety and regulatory affairs functions.
An M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and a few years of eco-toxicology, environmental risk assessment and testing program responsibilities are sought. The work is driven by EPA and other regulations which require the company to assess potential environmental, fish and wildlife risks and in the design of programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Experience with testing program management and the use of quantitative risk assessment tools is preferred.
The company is located in the Southeast US (the desired office location), with flexibility for a remote assignment. The position reports to the leader of the company’s toxicology and product safety function, within a Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship Department.
