Our client company has experienced recent pipeline successes and now seeks their first Head of Toxicology. The person hired for this role will report to the company’s VP of Translational Sciences, a veteran leader in the oncology space.
A Ph.D. and ten or more years of pharmaceutical industry toxicology experience is required. The company is specifically targeting experience in cancer therapeutics. Project team experience and CRO selection/relationship management experience is needed. Excellent collaborative skills are needed, given the small company environment in which the person will operate.
The person hired will act as the principal SME on all toxicology matters, select and monitor external testing partners, interface with global regulatory authorities and author pertinent regulatory documents. The company is located in the San Francisco metro area, but will support a fully remote work environment.
